Anonymous by design
Private account information is never publicly displayed. Usernames and voluntarily supplied profile information appear only when you choose a public profile. Submission data in ExpeCited's aggregate feeds — Live Data, Analytics, journal profiles, and Decisions Today — stays anonymized regardless of profile visibility.

Structured, not sorted
Every submission is a structured record. Sorting a table changes only presentation — it never breaks relationships between fields, unlike community spreadsheets.
Community-moderated
Suspicious entries can be flagged and reviewed by moderators. Records are never removed solely because they were flagged.
The “Do Not Sort” philosophy
Community spreadsheets can be destroyed in seconds when a user sorts a single column, severing each row’s relationships. ExpeCited stores every submission as a structured database record, so sorting and filtering only change the presentation layer — the underlying relationships between fields are never modified.
