CALL FOR MODS🗣️

Hi, folks! As you know, we’re a baby. And every baby needs supervision. We’re looking for mods that’ll help us build a supportive, safe, and credible community from the ground up. As some of you may have noticed, all users are permitted to suggest edits on Journal pages. This was a deliberate and critical component of our community because things move so quickly in this world that crucial information becomes very easy to miss. Having all of your eyes looking out for changes has proven to be invaluable. We need moderators to help regulate that process. Alongside reviewing and approving changes, mods will also be responsible for:

• Monitoring community discussions for spam, harassment, or misinformation, and generally ensuring that all members participate according to community guidelines;
• Escalating sensitive issues — like potential doxxing or anonymity breaches — to the ExpeCited team
• Reviewing community member reports;
• Reviewing ban and suspension appeals;
• Keeping an eye on trending threads to make sure conversations stay productive

We are an anonymous community, and your participation as a mod will not threaten that. Moreover, this is a volunteer role, but active mods will get a Moderator badge on their profile and early access to new features as we roll them out.
